My Story...​

 My calling is caregiving. After 23 years of raising a family of four children, 3 dogs and 4 cats, and caring for my aging in-laws, I realized that I have a passion for helping others. Seeing that the services geared exclusively for older adults in the community were available, but not all inclusive, I saw a niche for a company that could offer care, care navigation, legal advise, transportation, general advocacy and companionship. With that knowledge I set out to fill the need.

 Coupled with my role as a mother and family caregiver, I have a plethora of knowledge that has helped make the transition to managing a business assisting seniors seamless. As a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law and a former real estate sales person, I am able to assist with legal questions such as Medicare and Medicaid concerns, or issues relating to the disposition of real estate or personal property. My teaching experiences both in the area of equestrian sports,  (Hawthorne Valley Riding Club, my own business), and at Mandel JDS (formerly Agnon Day School), lends itself to educating older adults about new technology or simply how to use their cell phones.  As Senior Solutions, formerly Errands for Elderly, evolved I have been able to enrich the lives of older adults, ease the stress of their adult children, and enable seniors to remain safely and independently in their place of choice. Whether that means transporting a client to the beauty shop or doctor's office because they are no longer able to drive safely, or caring for an ailing client 24/7, we can provide help from someone uniquely qualified.  And, since Senior Solutions does not operate under the rules and confines of a franchise we have a wide breathe of areas in which we can assist. The services we provide encourage and support seniors allowing them to remain happy, healthy, safe and active.

 

Whether an older adult needs companionship, in-home care, referrals to geriatric health care providers, assistance with relocation or placement in a nursing home or assisted living facility, or help with other age-related issues like bill payment, advocacy or legal help, Senior Solutions can both provide and coordinate it all.
