Home Care

Senior Solutions provides reliable, skilled, compassionate caregivers. Depending on the level of care required, from occasional trips to the doctors, respite care for the family caregiver, daily visits to help with dressing, medication reminders, light housework, bathing, or round the clock care, we can handle all your loved one's needs. • Teach a senior to use his or cell phone, computer or i-pad

Advocacy

​

Caring for seniors involves not only the actual care but the need for advise regarding matters of health, housing and other issues of aging.  Senior Solutions' care advocates are able to monitor your loved one’s changing healthcare and support needs at home. The care advocate  can evaluate the situation to make professional recommendations in your loved one’s ongoing care. Some of the numerous services we offer are:

• Evaluating and recommending suggestions for home safety

• Reviewing  financial, medical and legal issues with referrals if necessary to appropriate agencies or individuals

• Referring to and coordinating all services (skilled home care, non-skilled home care, counseling, MD, rehab, dietitian, housing, legal, financial services)

• Providing community resources and setup Emergency Response System (e.g. Lifeline)

• Advising on  Medicare and Medicaid issues 

• Managing insurance concerns whether that involvers supplemental secondary coverage or limitations and benefits

• Creating advance directives and durable powers of attorney

• Assisting with and overseeing relocation

• Helping to manage bill payment 

• Applying for disability

• Acting as a liaison for patients' at medical appointments and hospital visits

• Scheduling and oversight of repairs
